HAPPENING NOW: hands-on training workshop titled “Greening the Community: Training on Urban Gardening”

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪: Faculty extensionists from the 𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗖 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, and 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 continuously extend knowledge to our service clientele through a hands-on training workshop titled “𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴”, which aims to guide the participants in establishing successful urban garden spaces in their neighborhoods, at BASC Cayetano Hall, Pinaod, San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
The training program’s beneficiaries, the barangay leaders, health workers, mother leaders, men, women and youth of Brgy. Poblacion and Brgy. Sapang Putol, San Ildefonso, Bulacan, actively participated as the key speaker, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿 𝗘. 𝗚𝗼𝗱𝗼𝘆, Assistant Professor I, provides his expertise on the benefits of urban gardening. With this, the participants gained foundational knowledge of urban gardening principles, acquired hands-on skills in planting of crops and learned how to plan and design urban garden spaces effectively.
