The “KUSINEHO” project is an internally funded extension project of Bulacan Agricultural State College that was implemented from April 2022 to October 2023 and was led by Ms. Jocelyn A. Espiritu, Instructor I from the Institute of Management.
It is an innovative product integration strategy designed to foster economic advancement within the Rural Improvement Club of Makapilapil in San Ildefonso. The initiative aimed to improve local livelihoods by strategically integrating rabbit-raising activities into the community’s economic structure.
The project team of this extension project provided comprehensive training programs on topics such as rabbit meat production care management, food safety, digital marketing, advertising strategy, basic bookkeeping, accounting for non-accounting individuals, and gender and development awareness. These trainings provided a positive impact on the participants’ knowledge and skills, which enabled the successful completion of the project. It emphasized the importance of continuous assessment, feedback mechanisms, and adaptive methods of instruction in maintaining the positive outcomes of educational initiatives.
Ultimately, the “KUSINEHO” project is intended to drive economic growth, empower local communities, and contribute to the overall development of San Ildefonso through the Rural Improvement Club of Makapilapil in San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
