SAN ILDEFONSO, BULACAN — Love was definitely in the air at Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) as the BASC Sounds Cool Band held a successful pre-Valentine’s Mini-Concert on February 11, 2026.

The event, held at the BASC Grounds in front of the college canteen, drew a massive crowd of students and faculty. Regardless of their relationship status—whether single, taken, or “complicated”—everyone was invited to let love sound louder through the power of live music.

The performance was led by Mr. Guilberto Villacorte Jr., ICS Laboratory Technician and member of the BASC non-teaching staff, whose piano performance provided a soulful foundation for the ensemble. He was accompanied by a talented group of BASC students representing various colleges and institutes:

The afternoon was filled with energy and vibrant melodies, showcasing the remarkable talent inherent in the BASC community. For those who missed the festivities, the musical celebration is not over yet. The BASC Sounds Cool Band is set to continue their concert series on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in front of the Institute of Computer Studies (ICS) Building for the second part of their pre-Valentine’s special.

This event serves as a testament to BASC’s commitment to fostering a vibrant campus culture where talent is celebrated and the well-being of the student body is prioritized through the arts. As the music echoed across the grounds, it was clear that at BASC, no one walks—or sings—alone this Valentine’s season.
