San Ildefonso, Bulacan – The Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) has successfully concluded its rigorous two-day ISO 9001:2015 Surveillance 1 Audit held December 1-2, 2025, receiving an affirmative result that confirms the institution’s dedication to maintaining the highest global standards. The quality management system (QMS) assessment was conducted by the Bureau Veritas audit team, led by Auditor Elizabeth Villezar and Auditor Giovanni Ken Evardoni, affirming the institution’s dedication to the highest global standards.

In a commendable finding that bears a number of opportunities for improvement, BASC achieved the highest possible mark in the surveillance audit: ZERO non-conformities. This admirable score signifies that every audited unit across the entire institution has complied with the strict international requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The finding is a powerful testament to the hard work and commitment to quality embedded throughout the BASC community.

Following this successful outcome, the audit team delivered its official recommendation for continued certification to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The auditors concluded that while institutional improvement is an ongoing process, the foundational processes of the College were deemed compliant.

Responding to the victory, College President Dr. Jameson H. Tan emphasized that the achievement reflects BASC’s deep-seated commitment to quality. He stated that the institution is dedicated to continuously upholding and strengthening its Quality Management System for the benefit of all students and stakeholders.
