BASC FOI Team receives 2021 FOI Rising Star Award
The Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) is one of the recipients of the FOI Rising Star Award given by the Freedom of Information Project Management Office (FOI-PMO) of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) in its annual FOI Awards held last November 25 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cebu City.
The award was given to BASC as recognition of its exceptional progress and performance in the implementation of the Freedom of Information Program. Dr. Ronald Reagan T. Alonzo, Vice-President for Administration and Finance; Ms. Marilyn P. Alvarez, FOI Receiving Officer; and Mr. John Raymond R. Valmocina, FOI Office Staff accepted the award from Undersecretary and FOI Program Director, Atty. Kristian R. Ablan of the PCOO.
The FOI Awards is an annual event that recognizes valuable contributions to the FOI Program of government agencies for promoting greater access to information, transparency, and accountability.
