BASC Holds 2025 Management Review, Reaffirms Commitment to Quality and Continuous Improvement

The Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) gathered its officials, quality assurance team, ISO process owners and key personnel for the Management Review 2025 held on November 21, 2025, at the Farmers Training Center. The annual activity served as a vital platform for evaluating institutional performance, strengthening quality systems, and ensuring that BASC continues to provide excellent service to its students and stakeholders.

The program opened with the registration facilitated by the Quality Assurance Office, followed by an invocation prayer led by Ms. Jermaine M. Calilap and the singing of the National Anthem.  College President Dr. Jameson H. Tan delivered the welcome remarks, setting a warm and optimistic atmosphere for the day’s discussions centered on collaboration and improvement.

Engr. Alvin G. Quizon acknowledged the presence of all participants, recognizing their contributions to BASC’s ongoing quality initiatives, then presented the Purpose of the Management Review, highlighting its role in assessing accomplishments, addressing gaps, and identifying opportunities for continuous development.

A series of comprehensive inputs were presented to provide a clear overview of the college’s performance indicators and quality efforts:

  • 5S + 2S Findings – Ms. Annie Rose P. Pagdanganan
  • External Provider’s Performance Evaluation – Ms. Rona Angela O. Clarin and Mr. Obreand D. Bernardo
  • Accreditation Status – Engr. Alvin G. Quizon
  • Applicable Legal Requirements – Ms. Maria Fatima R. Andres
  • Needs and Expectations of Interested Parties – Dr. Ma. Leonora C. Sta. Ana
  • Status of Documented Information and Risks and Opportunities – Ms. Jermaine M. Calilap
  • Infrastructure and Maintenance – Ar. Raymart M. Fajardo
  • Quality Policy – Dr. Jameson H. Tan and Engr. Alvin G. Quizon
  • Quality Objectives & Strategic Planning – Dr. John Edward Y. Cruz
  • Adequacy of Resources – Ms. Ma. Marita P. De Guzman

Throughout the discussion, speakers emphasized not only compliance with standards but also the deeper purpose behind BASC’s systems—to continually elevate the student experience and uphold the institution’s mandate of quality education.

Dr. Jameson H. Tan closed the event with reaffirmed management commitment, expressing gratitude to all contributors and encouraging the community to sustain a culture of excellence and transparency.

The Management Review 2025 ended with renewed focus, stronger collaboration, and a shared commitment to BASC’s continued growth and improvement.
