HAPPENING NOW The Institute of Engineering and Applied Technology (IEAT), in collaboration with the University of Kratie, is conducting a three-day training entitled “Digital Divide in Agriculture: Bringing BASC to the World”

The Institute of Engineering and Applied Technology (IEAT), in collaboration with the University of Kratie, is conducting a three-day training entitled “Digital Divide in Agriculture: Bringing BASC to the World” at the University of Kratie, Krong Kracheh, Cambodia.
The training aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the participants on the basics of website deployment, the laws and principles of intellectual property, and various Agritech solutions of BASC, including SMART agriculture.
On the first day, Ms. Michelle M. Cortez, Dean of IEAT, and OJTs from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Department gave a lecture on “Website Deployment,” covering topics such as choosing a web hosting provider and domain name, uploading and configuring website files, DNS settings configuration, and SSL/TLS certificates, as well as testing and monitoring website accessibility and performance, and basic backup and troubleshooting.
In the following days, the training will also cover topics related to Agritech or SMART Agriculture and Intellectual Property.
