International Research Conference on Information Technology Education (IRCITE) 2022
The International Research Conference on Information Technology Education (IRCITE) 2022 is hosted by the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) – Central Luzon Chapter. The theme is “Research Collaboration: An Innovative Global Response to a Resilient and Sustainable IT Education.” The event was held online on April 22, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., using a meeting platform. The goal of the conference is to give IT professors and students a place to share ideas and talk freely with ICT professionals about the latest research developments, IT issues and strategies to explore, and new technology platforms that could help us find solutions to the problems we are facing right now. It was attended by ITE teachers from different schools, researchers, and industry and IT partners in the area. Students and teachers from our school also took part in different events.
The Tiktok Dance Challenge is a competition between seven schools. The event was won by BASC. Mark Angelo Frimia (BSIT 2A), Expedito Jr. Castillo (BSIT 2A), Ericalyn R. Lanz Tuazon (BSIT 3A), Neil Hizon (BSIT 3A), and Arjay Marucot (BSIT 3B) were the contestants for IT Marketing Plan. Their coach was Engr. Jermyn G. Evangelista. Dr. Melanie A. Cruz and Mr. Ghelo Inducil are Menard Dela Cruz’s (BSIT 4A) coaches for the Digital Arts category. The end of the show
