A hands-on training session on integrating free-range chicken farming into rice-based agricultural systems and the production of salted eggs was held on March 22, 2024, in Malipampang, San Ildefonso, Bulacan. This event was organized by the project team behind “Establishing a Viable Enterprise Using Free-Range Chicken Production Technology in Bulacan.”

The primary goal of this training is to equip local farmers with essential technical knowledge about raising free-range chickens in conjunction with rice farming. It also seeks to enhance their skills in managing such an integrated farming system effectively. Participants will receive guidance on proper chicken care, sustainable farming practices, and the importance of keeping accurate records for farm management.
