BASC Tops Region III in Secondary LET, Produces 218 Newly Licensed Teachers
The Bulacan Agricultural State College proudly celebrates the success of its 218 newly licensed professional teachers, marking a significant improvement in the institution’s performance in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
This year’s results reflect a notable upward trend compared with previous LET outcomes, demonstrating BASC’s continuous efforts to strengthen instruction, mentoring, and academic support systems.
The Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) program delivered an outstanding performance with 129 passers out of 133 first-time takers, achieving a 96.99% passing rate, while the overall passing rate reached 92.00%, well above the national passing rate of 72.62%. With this year’s exceptional outcomes, this marks a clear improvement compared with earlier LET results.
Likewise, the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) registered a remarkable leap in performance, with 77 passers out of 83 first-time takers, posting an impressive 92.77% passing rate. The program’s overall passing rate of 87.91% significantly surpassed the national passing rate of 54.01%, and improved on previous BEEd results.
These results have once again demonstrated BASC’s excellence in teacher education, emerging as one of the top-performing State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Region III. According to the consolidated SUC Region III performance report, BASC achieved outstanding regional rankings in both the Elementary and Secondary levels among first-time takers.
In the Elementary Level, under the category of schools with 50 to 99 examinees, BASC ranked 4th in Region III, affirming the strength of BASC’s Bachelor of Elementary Education program.
More notably, BASC claimed the top rank in Region III in the Secondary Level (First-Time Takers). This placed BASC 1st among SUCs in Central Luzon, outperforming several larger institutions and exceeding the national passing rate of 72.62% by a wide margin.
These results reflect a clear upward trajectory in BASC’s LET performance compared with previous years, underscoring the institution’s sustained investments in curriculum enhancement, faculty mentoring, academic collaborations and student preparation. From consistently strong outcomes in past LETs, BASC has now elevated its standing to regional leadership.
Beyond rankings and percentages, this milestone represents the collective efforts of students who persevered, faculty who guided with dedication, and administrators who continuously champion academic quality. BASC remains committed to producing competent, compassionate, and future-ready educators who will shape the nation’s classrooms.
