Extension Project: KaaGADpay sa Ligtas at Inklusibong Komunidad
Last August 2024, the project team behind the on-going extension project KaaGADpay sa Ligtas at Inklusibong Komunidad recently conducted a training needs assessment to evaluate the level of awareness among selected tricycle drivers on the Safe Spaces Act of 2019. This initiative, carried out at the Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) campus, is part of a larger effort aimed at promoting a safer and more inclusive environment for everyone on campus.
The primary objective of the project is to develop and implement a comprehensive training program on gender and development principles, specifically designed for all concessionaires at BASC, including tricycle drivers. The training program seeks to enhance their understanding of gender-sensitive practices and their ability to apply these principles in their daily interactions with students, faculty, and other campus visitors.
